All firearms purchased through Guns and Camo Exchange (GCX) must be shipped from the selling FFL directly to a licensed receiving FFL. No exceptions. Firearms cannot be shipped to a residential address, a P.O. Box, or any address that is not an active, licensed Federal Firearms Licensee.
This requirement applies to all handguns, rifles, shotguns, and receivers. Ammunition, optics, and non-regulated accessories may be shipped directly to the buyer per applicable state law; specific shipping terms for non-firearm items are set by the selling dealer.
At checkout, you must provide the name, address, and FFL license number of your chosen receiving dealer. GCX will verify FFL status before processing your order. If you do not have a preferred FFL, you can use the Find an FFL tool or ask at any local gun shop.
Your receiving FFL may charge a transfer fee to handle the paperwork, accept the shipment, and complete the transfer. Transfer fees are paid directly to your receiving FFL and are not collected by GCX. Typical transfer fees range from $25 to $75 per firearm.
Sellers on GCX ship firearms using carriers authorized for firearms shipments (FedEx, UPS) in accordance with carrier policies and federal law. Handguns must be shipped via overnight express. Long guns (rifles and shotguns) may be shipped via ground.
Estimated shipping timelines vary by seller location and selected carrier service. Typical range: 2–7 business days after the seller ships. GCX provides tracking information once a shipment is confirmed.
GCX does not facilitate transfers that would violate state or local law. Before listing or purchasing a firearm on GCX, both seller and buyer are responsible for confirming that the transaction is lawful in the buyer’s jurisdiction. GCX may decline transactions where legal restrictions prevent compliant transfer.
Certain firearms, configurations, or magazine capacities may be prohibited or restricted in specific states. GCX will flag known state-level restrictions, but buyers and sellers bear final responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws.
GCX does not facilitate international firearms shipments. All transactions on GCX must involve a US-based licensed seller and a US-based receiving FFL. ITAR and export compliance are not supported.
If a firearm arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact the selling dealer directly. Sellers are responsible for appropriate packaging and carrier insurance. GCX will assist in facilitating communication between buyer and seller to resolve shipment issues.
Return policies for firearms are set by the individual selling dealer and may be limited by applicable law. Federal law prohibits certain transfers that would result from a return. Contact the selling dealer directly for their return policy before purchase.
